Message from the District Administrator

As the District Administrator of the Kaukauna Area School District I am delighted to have the honor of serving the school district community as we continue our journey to provide an excellent educational experience for our students.  Built upon a long tradition of successfully educating the youth of the District that goes back into the mid 1800’s, our talented and highly qualified staff cares deeply about ensuring that all students have the opportunity to learn and grow academically, socially, emotionally and physically over the course of their time in the school district.

While appreciating and respecting our many traditions, our District is also deeply committed to implementing best practice instructional programs and pursuing educational innovation.  The significant amount of professional development provided our staff over the last several years to improve their instructional repertoire along with the development of two charter schools sees our District on the cutting edge of educational practice.  A dedicated Board of Education and professional Administrative Team passionate about providing for the needs of students provides the leadership necessary to accomplish our many goals.

Our students are not only our greatest asset; they are our hope for the future.  Please join the entire staff of the Kaukauna Area School District, the Board of Education, the Administrative Team and myself in support of continuing to provide an excellent educational experience in a fiscally responsible manner for the students of the Kaukauna Area School District.

With respect,
Mary K. Weber
District Administrator

STEP (Senior Talent Exchange Program)

The Kaukauna Area School District welcomes the many gifts and talents our senior citizens have to contribute to our school system and is pleased to offer the Senior Talent Exchange Program (S.T.E.P.). In S.T.E.P., senior citizens are given the opportunity to work in the district and apply their earnings toward payment of school property taxes. Throughout this school year, students may be given the opportunity of working with one of more senior citizens. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering for S.T.E.P., please call the District Office at 766-6111.
