Summer School Busing

Attention Parents!  The Kaukauna Area School District is planning to provide bussing to and from the River View and KHS Summer School sites.

When:  bus routes will be set up based on enrollment and students will be picked up and dropped off at the summer school sites prior to the first class at 8:00.  Buses will return students after classes end at noon.  Classes that fall outside of the 8:00 – 12:00 time frame will not have bussing.  Classes held at sites other than KHS or Riverview will not have bussing.

How:  When registering your child for summer school, and in viewing the course descriptions, there will be a class for each session called Summer School Bussing.  Please select this class and register as you would any other summer school class.

Cost:  The cost for bussing will be $3.00 per day and must be paid in a lump sum whether you use it every day or only some of the time.  The total for each session will be $45.00.

Important Notes

·         If you are utilizing bussing you will need to sign up for a full morning schedule unless you are planning to pick up or drop off your child and only use bussing one way.  The cost of bussing would be the same regardless of how much you use it.

·         There will be no supervision for students at River View not enrolled in summer school classes.

·         There will not be supervision provided at KHS if students do not have a full morning of class.
