Junior and Senior Girls: Powder Puff shirt signup runs Thursday, September 8th through Monday, September 12th. The long-sleeve shirts are $20. Please bring your money to either Ms. Xiong in E111 or Ms. Hochholzer in E225 to reserve your number! No shirts will be ordered without payment!

 

Attention NHS members.....please check out google classroom for posts made regarding our mandatory meeting, opportunities for service during Flex, and blood drive sign-ups. If you don't have the NHS code, stop in and see Miller-Flynn. 

 

Did you like the new Spiderman movie…..do you like the idea of being a superhero like Spiderman? Kaukauna High School students can be real superheroes by donating blood on Sept. 22nd…..and every person donating will get a free t-shirt.  Has anyone out there turned 16 or will turn 16 by Sept. 22nd? If so, you are eligible to donate blood and be better than Spidey!! Stop by the table in the commons and get a parent permission slip. 

 

Gamers Club will be starting up again this school year on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays in room F222 for 1st and 2nd lunch starting September 7th.  Hang out in a smaller lunch setting with opportunities to meet new people, play video and board games, do puzzles, or just enjoy your lunch! 

 

Join us this Friday for the first Project 7 Student-led Bible study of the year. All are welcome to come for food, fun, fellowship and fact-finding. We meet each Friday in room E209 during Flex. Be sure to sign up and we look forward to seeing you there!

 

Looking for a student or small team that is interested in programming Holiday lights to music for a local charity organization.  See Mrs Moseng in D109 for more information.  

 

HOSA-future health professionals will host our first chapter meeting of the year, on Friday Sept 9th in D109 in flex time.  Any student interested in learning more about what HOSA has to offer, sign up in efficiency for Friday.  Member forms and Fall Leadership Conference sign up available on Friday.  See Mrs Moseng in D109 for more details. 

 

Fox Valley Technical College is hosting an Open House on October 4th from 3-7pm.

Seniors that attend the open house can apply and the application fee will be waived at this event.  Stop in Student Services for more information.

 

Attention Seniors - College Goal Wisconsin is offering free FAFSA completion events to assist families with filling out the financial aid application for college. This is a great way to get free assistance and get the FAFSA form completed.  They also offer scholarship drawings for those that attend.   Go to collegegoalwi.org to register for the event.  Stop in Student Services for more information.

 

There will be informational sessions regarding the Early College Credit and Start College Now programs during flex on Thursday, September 22nd and Thursday, September 29th.  These programs allow students to take college classes during high school.  Please sign up for Mr Binsfeld's flex in the Student Services Classroom to participate.  

 

Freshmen interested in participating in student council, please come to Mr. Dunphy's room to pick up an application. He is located in room E121. 

 

The University School of Milwaukee is hosting a US Military Academies Information Night on Thursday, Sept 8 from 6:30-8:00p.m.  This is a great night to learn more about the admissions process, and cadet life.  There will be representatives from the US Military Academy, the US Naval Academy, and the US Air Force Academy.  Stop in Student Services to register for this event.
