Happy Birthday Kyle Rogers.

Do you want to create a positive environment at KHS?  Do you enjoy helping others and having fun?  Then, join Sources of Strength!   If you are interested, sign up for one of the 2 informational meetings next week Wednesday or Friday in Mrs. P's room during FLEX.  Any questions, contact Mrs. Paffenroth in the choir room.

A rep from Fox Valley Technical College will be in Student Services during Flex on Monday, Sept 19.  Sign up in Edficiency if you are interested.

Attention Seniors:   AES Engineering belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason they are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted.

This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.  Log into Xello for the link to the online application.

The Community Blood Center scholarship application can be found in Xello.  $2000 worth of scholarships are available to Seniors who participated in the school's blood program as a donor, recruiter, volunteer or other. Log into Xello to find this and other scholarships you may be eligible for.

Attention KHS students, do you like tailgate food  for lunch…..burgers, brats, delicious bars, mouth-watering cookies and cupcakes for snacks? The Sept. 22  Blood Drive will provide a free lunch to anyone donating during their lunch period and a bake-off jam-packed with delicious goodies, available all day. Students will be excused for one hour during the school day to donate blood. Sign-ups are taking place in the commons by the nurse’s office during both lunches and after school now!!

A strong performance on the ACT can make the difference in getting admitted to and receiving financial aid for your top college choices.  Give yourself the edge you need by attending a UW Oshkosh ACT Test Prep Course.  You have the option to complete the prep course 100% online.  Stop in Student Services for more information.
