Attention Seniors:  If you are interested in attending Fox Valley Technical College next year, the scholarship application opened on October 3rd at www.fvtc.edu/HSScholarships.  There is no essay required.  Applications can also be found by logging into Xello.

The American Legion - Thomas E. Kees $1000 scholarship application is now available in Student Services.  If you are a Senior and live in the Sherwood Area, this is a good scholarship for you.  Deadline line is March 1.  Stop in today to pick up your application.

Are you a junior or senior and thinking about attending UW Eau Claire after graduation?  UW Eau Claire is offering an event on November 30 from 6:00 - 7:30 in DePere at the Brown County Library. They will have several presentations about UW Eau Claire including financial aid, alumni panel and more info about UW Eau Claire.  All students in attendance will have a chance to win a $2,000 scholarship that will be awarded that evening.  Stop Student Services or check out theUW Eau Claire website for more information.

Blood drive sign-ups are still taking place by the nurses office before and after school and at both lunches. The blood drive is November 22nd.

Never put off till tomorrow what you CAN do today! The NHS food drive is currently taking place in the commons and the band room. Every person that donates is placed in a raffle for a 5 dollar gift card for Mrs. Miller-Flynn’s snack cart. Not only can you help your community, but you can also win a prize! Isn’t it CAN-tatstic?

Since Thanksgiving is coming up we need your help dressing the turkey… but it's not just any turkey, Gertrude the gratitude turkey or Gertie for short will be hanging around in the commons in your lunch periods. Please consider writing what you are thankful for on the feather during your lunch period and dress up Gertrude the gratitude turkey or Gertie for short for those who do, your feather will be possibly drawn for the best prize ever which will make you the celebrity of our school like Arianna Grande with a custom Xbox controller! There will be 3 of them given away.
