Prom Committee announcement 2023

Prom 2023  will be here soon.  Do you want to help create the best KHS prom yet?  If you are a dedicated, hardworking junior interested in helping plan Prom 2023 pick up an informational application on the counter outside of the high school office or in B153.

Hey soup lovers out there! On Wed. March 8th, NHS and the art and music departments will be sponsoring SLURP, our community soup dinner which showcases the fine arts at KHS. Be prepared to be blown away by the great artwork on display as well as being entertained by the choir, band and orchestra students.

 

Did we mention the soups????? There are 12 different all-you-can-eat soup, crackers, and desserts.

 

Dinner starts at 5:00 and will run until 7:00 or until the soup runs out. Cost for teens is $7.00. 

 

Attention Seniors: Photos for the senior video are due by the end of the school day on Friday, March 3rd. Submit your photos to kaukaunagrad2023@gmail.com 

 

The Outagamie County Bar Association application is available in Student Services.  This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who will be pursuing education in law or criminal justice.  

 

NWTC is hosting Explore Trades day on Friday, March 3 from 9:30-noon.  Log into www.nwtc.edu/ExploreTrades to register or stop in Student Services for more information.

 

Attention Girls & Boys Senior Basketball Players:  The AB Nicholas Scholarship offers approximately 80 Wisconsin public and private high school graduates annual scholarships of $10,000 for 4-year and $5,000 for 2 year programs and are renewable for the length of the program.  Log into Xello for more information.

 

The NWTC Foundation Scholarship is now open and students will have until April 30 to complete it.  Students who applied to NWTC will be able to complete the application in the student portal.

 

Any student that is interested in a group job shadow can attend many opportunities at Bubolz Nature Preserve in Appleton.  Also many upcoming events including the Job Fair happening at Fox Cities Exhibition Center on March 21.  Stop in Student Services for more information.
