Are you interested in learning about county government?  The Calumet County Youth in Governance Program is looking for students who live in Calumet County, who would be interested in bringing a youth voice to county issues.  If you live in Calumet County and interested in being a part of the program, please sign up for the flex session on January 16th under Mrs. Feucht's name in Edficiency or stop in Student Services.

 

Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region scholarship application is currently available for students graduating from Kaukauna High School.  The complete list, including (2) $2,000 James Brogan scholarships, (2) $1,000 Al Zieler Business scholarships, and the $1,000 Bret Younger Track scholarship is posted in Xello.  Only one common application is needed to fill out for any of the scholarships you qualify for. Deadline dates vary; however, most are due on March 1.   If you have any questions, please stop in Student Services.

 

Marian University will host a nurse camp this summer open to high school students graduating in 2024 or 2025 interested in nursing and other health sciences.  The cost is $50 and is limited to the first 20 students who apply and are approved.  An annual $500 scholarship will be awarded if you are admitted to Marian University.  Stop in Student Services for more information.

 

Diversity Club will be meeting on Friday during FLEX in the LIbrary. New members are always welcome. See Mr. Hietpas or Mrs. Xiong if you have questions. 

 

Attention Seniors: Senior T-shirts will be for sale next week only. Shirts are $15 and can be purchased in the commons before school, after school, and during both lunches. You must be present to purchase. Contact Mrs. Xiong or Mrs. Hochholzer with questions. 

 

Do you have an interest in Cosmetology as a career?  If so, take part in the Empire Beauty School Experience Day on January 9th.  Details can be found in Student Services.

 

Attention Seniors that plan to attend a Technical College:  The Elk's Technical Scholarship application  is available in Student Services.  This scholarship is worth $1,000.  Deadline to apply is April 1.

 

Life Tools Tutoring will be offering a 2-day ACT test-prep course on Saturday, January 27 and Saturday, Feb 3 from 8:30-12:30 at St. Ignatius School in Kaukauna.  Please register at www.LifeToolsTC.com.  The cost of this intensive 2-day course is $180.  If you have any questions, stop in Student Services.
