Attention Seniors:   If you participated on the Ghost Varsity Football team, you are eligible to apply for the Kaukauna Quarterback Club $500 & 1,0000 scholarship.  Also, the Elk's Technical Scholarship application  is available in Student Services.  This scholarship is worth $1,000.  Deadline to apply is April 1.   Stop in today to pick up your application.

 

Xavier High School is offering a College Fair on Tuesday, March 12th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to talk with college representatives. If you would like more information, please stop in Student Services.

 

Attention all students:  The Wisconsin Labor History Society announces its Essay Contest for Wisconsin high school students, grades 9-12.  Win cash prizes up to $500.  All you need is a 750 word essay on why "unions are good for my family, my community, and my nation."  Students from Appleton, Kimberly, Menasha & Neenah have been previous winners.  Deadline to apply is February 15.  Stop in Student Services for more information.

 

Attention Seniors:  The Vietnam Veterans of America Appleton Area Chapter 351 is offering (4) $1500 scholarships to graduating seniors that write an original narrative essay based on your interview with any US military veteran of any branch of services during Jan 1959-May 1975.  Deadline to apply is Feb 28.  Stop in Student Services for more information.

 

The Horatio Alger scholarship application is now available for scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 for financial need students whose adjusted gross family income is less than $65,000.  Applications can be found by logging into Xello.  

 

Attention Seniors that plan to attend a Technical College:  The Elk's Technical Scholarship application  is available in Student Services.  This scholarship is worth $1,000.  Deadline to apply is April 1.

 

The United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar and Summer STEM Programs for June opened on January 4th and will close on April 15th. These programs are a great opportunity for students to learn about the Naval Academy or visit Annapolis, Maryland for a vibrant week of problem-solving, exploratory learning, critical thinking, and team building.  There are scholarships available for those who may not be able to afford the programs and/or travel. Do not let money be a deterrence. For more information, stop in Student Services.

Attention Girls & Boys Senior Basketball Players:  The AB Nicholas Scholarship of approximately 100 Wisconsin public and private high school graduates annual scholarships of $10,000 for 4-year and $5,000 for 2 year programs and are renewable for the length of the program.  Log into Xello for more information.

 

DATE CORRCETION: Attention Seniors:  The Local Scholarship Meeting will be held on Friday, February 5th in the Auditorium 1st, 2nd, 3A, 4th, and 5th hour for any senior planning to apply for local scholarships.  This meeting is mandatory.  Please bring your chromebooks or laptops. You will not be allowed to apply without coming to a meeting. If you have English this trimester, you will be coming with your class.
