Congratulations to the forensics team for placing 4th at the Oshkosh West tournament this past Saturday! Congrats to our 1st place Play Acting duo, Emily Bolstad and Kiran Lison; 2nd place Group Interp team, Madison Baehr, Rory Baer, Via Bentley, and Matthew Mielke; 2nd place Duo Improv, Kiran Lison and Linnea Wolfe; 3rd place Impromptu speaker, Via Bentley; 3rd place in Oral Interpretation of Literature, Lilly Pingel; and our finalists Audrey Arnoldussen, Allison Hanson, Hope Hietpas, and Annabel Patschke! Good luck to all team members today as they compete at Sub-District!

Attention athletes, if you are interested in nutrition, recovery, and mental wellness, then join the Balanced Athlete Project! Please attend the next meeting on Wednesday, February 14th during flex in Mrs Jenkins classroom D113. Please see Mrs. Jenkins for more information.

 

The Technical Excellence Scholarship application is now available in Student Services and is due on Friday, February 16th.  This scholarship is available for any student planning to attend a technical college in Wisconsin. It is $2250 per year for up to 3 years.  See Mrs. Josephs in Student Services for more information.

 

 Attention Seniors:  The John Aman Memorial (Unison Credit Union) scholarship application is available both online in Xello and paper copies in Student Services.  This $2000 scholarship will be awarded to students who best mirror the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" and who have learned the importance of volunteerism and giving back to his or her community.  Deadline to apply is March 22.

 

If there are any girls or boys interested in playing LaCrosse, please sign up in Mrs. Becker's office.  The boys co-op play through Notre Dame and the girls through Hortonville.

 

Seniors, all Local Scholarship applications are due no later than Wednesday, February 14th at 3:30 pm to Mrs. Rueden in Student Services. All applications must be complete with release signed by both student and also a parent if not 18.  Stop in Student Services if you have any questions.

 

On April 9th from 5:30-7:30pm, UW-Platteville is hosting Pioneering Platteville Engineering Event at the UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities Campus. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about UW-Platteville without having to travel to Platteville.  Register if you are interested.  More information can be found in Student Services.
