Attention senior NHS members. Please check into your NHS Google Classroom account from last year. We are still using last year's account. If you need to see the NHS classroom code, it is written on the board in my room. As of now this is the #1 way you will be getting announcements on a day-to-day basis.


Working the table in the commons signing up blood donors is the first service activity available for you to sign up for. The sign-ups are on the wall now in my room. We would like to start signing up donors today if possible. I would be happy to review with you how to sign up donors in the commons if you aren't positive about how to do this. Thanks!! Mrs. M-F

Attention current juniors who received a letter in the mail at the end of last school year inviting you to apply for admittance into NHS:

Normally applications for admittance are completed in the spring of the year but due to the Stay At Home Order, we were unable to accomplish this. 
Instead, NHS applications can be picked up in E204 before or after school only because I will need to explain the application to you before you take it. There may also be Flex periods available soon that you can sign up for to pick up and go through the application with me, Mrs. Miller-Flynn.


Attention Seniors:  The 2021 Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship information is now available online at enf.elks.org/MVS.  


The VFW Voice of Democracy Patriotic Audio Essay Competition application is now available in Student Services to students in Grades 9-12.  Students compete by writing and recording an audio essay on this year's theme, "Is This the Country the Founders Envisioned?" 


A virtual visit from North Park University, Illinois, will be held during FLEX time on September 14.

The following make up dates have been set for students who missed having their picture take at the KHS registration:

Tuesday, September 8th for Cohort A starting at 7:15 A.M.
Friday, September 11th for Cohort B starting at 7:15 A.M.
Students who are all virtual this year can pick which day works best for them to come in to get their picture taken.
