Today is the KHS Blood Drive. If you signed up to donate please do the following: Show

up on time to the donation location which is in the hallway by the auxiliary gym…..bring your

student ID to the auxiliary gym, continue to drink plenty of fluids all day, eat a really good

breakfast, hopefully you have a short sleeved shirt on and get prepared to taste and vote on the

bake-off items!! Thanks much for being a lifesaver today!!!

 

The Delores Mischler Memorial offers a $500 scholarship to a volunteer or employee at St. Paul's Services and plans to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited post-secondary institution.  This application can be found in Student Services.

 

Senior Ball Ticket Sales

If you are planning on attending Senior Ball (May 15th) you must purchase your ticket today. Today is the last day to get tickets. Tickets will be on sale during both lunches. Today is the final day to purchase a ticket. No tickets will be sold at the door. The cost is $25 per ticket, for dancing only (8-10PM) OR $35 for dinner and dancing.   You must be a member of the KHS class of 2021 to attend. Commemorative keychain included with ticket only while supplies last.

 

Senior Ball 2021 Court Nominations

If you know a Senior who wants to be on the Senior Ball court ballot they need to be nominated by the end of the day today.  The nomination forms are on the counter outside the high school office. You can nominate any senior. Elections will be next week.

 

UW-Oshkosh is pleased to announce that they have extended the deadline for the CAPP Scholarship to May 7th!  Application can be found at the UW-Oshkosh website under Academic Works:  https://uwosh.academicworks.com

 

Reminder to Seniors that plan to attend Award Scholarship Night on May 26, make sure you turn in your reply by the end of this week to Mrs. Rueden in Student Services.

 

Are you taking an AP exam? If your exam starts at 8:00, please arrive at your testing location by 7:30. If your exam starts at 12:00, please arrive at your testing location by 11:30. If you arrive past the start times you will not be able to participate. Signs will be posted outside the office for locations and arrival times. Be sure to bring black or blue pens, sharpened pencils and any other approved items you may need. Good luck on your exams!

 

Masking up for Safety Contest

The yearbook committee is sponsoring a “Mask Design Contest”  to give you all a chance to show off your creativity and art.  

 

How to Enter:

Students  must use the template provided during the first period on May 3rd.  Additional copies will be available from Student Services, the LMC, or from Mrs. Schimmers-Wood in room F219.   There will be  flextimes the week of May 3rd to May 7th listed on edficiency to sign up, where there will be art supplies available.   The mask must be the student’s original design and be school appropriate.  Designs must be turned in by Friday May 7th, 2021.  They can be turned in to Student Services, the LMC, or in room F219. 

Each class will get a chance to vote on the best design for their class, and at least the top 5 from each class will be printed in the yearbook. The winning entry for each grade will be able to claim a $50 Visa gift card or a yearbook, the 2 runner ups will receive a $25 VISA gift card.   Any questions please contact Mrs. Schimmers-Wood in room F219.
