Attention Sophomores & Juniors:  The PSAT test is great practice for the S.A.T.  Juniors who score high enough may enter the National Merit Scholarship program.  The test will be offered on Wednesday, October 13 in Student Services.  Tests are limited and the cost is $16.  Stop in Student Services today for more information if you are interested.  Sign up deadline is Oct. 8.

 

Seniors are you interested in global politics and debate? Join the first meeting of the Model United Nations Chapter at KHS! The first informational meeting will be held on October 4th during flex in P Meyers room F216. See Mr. Meyer for details of additional information.

The Voice of Democracy Program is open to students in grades 9-12 to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution.  Judging criteria includes imagination and human interest, clearly expressing your ideas in an organized manner, and speaking in a clear and credible manner.   Deadline to apply is Oct 31.  Stop in Student Services for more information.
