If you’re a sophomore or junior, now is the time to get ready for college. Find out how you can save money and earn a degree sooner by taking high school and college credits at the same time. Learn how easy it is to start at Fox Valley Tech and then transfer to other colleges on Thursday, November 11 from 3-6 p.m. at Teen Preview Day.  Pre-Registration is required.  Stop in Student Services for more information.

The Diversity Club is selling delicious, authentic, Hmong Egg Rolls this Wednesday the commons after school. They are $2.50 for 1 or 6 for $13. Get in line quick because they sell out fast. 

 

The AP Exam deadline is quickly approaching for AP courses that run in trimesters 1 and 2. The deadline to select YES in your college board account is WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 27th. Fill out the paper form given by your AP teacher and submit your payment to Mrs. Brouch as soon as possible. Please select NO in your College Board account if you do not plan to take the exam. Contact your AP teacher or Ms. Vraney with any questions.

 

Attention Seniors:  The Herb Kohl Student Excellence Scholarship application is now available!  The foundation will award 100 $10,000 scholarships to Wisconsin high school seniors.  Log into Xello to start your application today.  Deadline to apply is Nov 16.

 

Sources of Strength, in partnership with the art department, are looking for any and all students interested in coming together to paint this year's Holiday Card. Each year every school in our district creates a large Holiday display for downtown Kaukauna, and this year we invite you to take part in the making. Please see Mr. Hansel in room F124 to be added to his Flex Time group. The first meeting will be November 1st, where students will vote on this year's design.

 

We are selling yearbooks from last school year 2020-21 during 1st and 2nd lunch, and after school in the commons until October 27th.  The yearbooks will be first come first serve as we only have a limited supply left.  They are purchasable for $60 cash or check.  If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Schimmers-Wood in room F219. If you haven't picked up your yearbook yet from last year, we will be distributing them as well. 

 

Attention Seniors:  The Calumet County Sportsmen's Alliance scholarship information is now available.  If you plan to pursue a degree at the college or technical level in a conservation related field that supports the preservation of hunting, fishing and trapping and in good academic standing you are eligible for this scholarship.  Submit your name and future school and area of study to your counselor today.  

 

All football players, please be ready to hand in equipment Wednesday after school.  Please have everything washed and your locker cleaned out.  Locks will be cut on Thursday.

 

Any student interested in being a manager for the wrestling team should pick up an application from Mrs. Matczak in B153.

 

Anyone interested in playing CYO basketball can pick up registration forms from Mrs. Lotzer in room F-209. Sign-up nights are November 1st and 2 at the Holy Cross Gym.
