Attention seniors planning to attend a Technical College in Wisconsin.  The Wisconsin Technical Excellence Scholarship application is now available in Student Services. The Technical Excellence Scholarship awards 3 students a scholarship in the amount of $2, 225 a year for up to 3 years.  This is a points based scholarship and not based on GPA so any senior planning to attend a Technical College is encouraged to apply.  Stop in Student Services for more information.

 

Pop Quiz KHS Ghosts – True or False? There is no substitute for human blood? The answer is TRUE. When hospital patients need blood, they receive transfusions that come from the volunteer blood donors…..that could be you!! NHS is sponsoring a blood drive on the 17th. Sign-ups are taking place in the commons by the nurse’s office, during both lunches and after school. Sign up to be a blood donor…sign up for life!!!

 

NWTC will be hosting another Campus Preview Day on Friday, Feb 4.  This is a great opportunity for prospective juniors and seniors to tour the campus and explore potential careers.  Time options are 9-10:30am and 12-1:30pm.  Registration is required.
