Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) Courses
The Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) is designed to provide students with an opportunity to enroll at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in a high school setting earning dual credit through the University and Kaukauna High School. Taking CAPP for high school credit is strongly recommended for the college-bound senior. For additional information on CAPP, please visit the UW-Oshkosh CAPP website.
Seniors need to meet one of the following requirements:
- Upper 25% of their class
- 3.25 GPA or above (on a 4.0 scale)
- ACT composite score of 24 or above and one of the following:
- Class rank in the top 50%
- GPA of 2.75 or above

Courses Offered in Cooperation with Fox Valley Technical College
Under agreement with Fox Valley Technical College, courses are offered at KHS which may be taken for technical college credit or advanced standing. A student who successfully completes the course and meets pre-established criteria will be eligible to receive high school credit at KHS. These credits will meet KHS graduation requirements.
Awarding of advanced standing credit is at the discretion of Fox Valley Technical College based on industry and business standards. For Advanced Standing, the student must earn a grade of B- or higher in the course.
For transcripted credit, two grades will be issued. The high school grade, based on Kaukauna High School grading scale, will be placed on the student’s high school transcript. The FVTC grade, based on the FVTC grading scale, will be the grade placed on the student’s FVTC transcript.
