Why KASD?
The Kaukauna Area School District (KASD) is a vibrant K12 public school district with seven schools, hundreds of dedicated teachers and staff, and a history of more than 120 years of providing quality instruction. KASD has a tradition of community partnership that is Kaukauna Strong.
Wisconsin School Report Cards show five KASD schools “Exceeding Expectations," one earning the "Significantly Exceeds Expecations" distinction. That’s one of the highest rankings that the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) provides in its annual review of state schools. The District, with the help of a dedicated, elected school board of seven community members, lowered class sizes at all grade levels in the 2014-15 school year. Responding to the needs of our families, a 4K wrap-around child care program was added at Tanner Early Learning Center, serving our families at both Tanner and NDLC. A redesign of River View Middle School’s instructional day increased math time as well as student interventions. A new trimester schedule at Kaukauna High School will provide deeper learning and more course options. When you join Kaukauna Area School District, we will be your partner as you and your child navigate an educational path beyond high school. We look forward to working with your family! |
