Community

The Kaukauna Area School District's "community" is defined in many ways. Geographically, we are located in Outagamie County, along the beautiful Fox River.

Our district is made up of all or parts of 10 cities and villages, the largest being the City of Kaukauna.

But we are more than our geography. We are proudly connected to our families, our students, our alumni, our current and former staff, the elected officials who represent us, and more. Our students often grow up to create careers and homes for themselves right here in the Fox River Valley because they feel Connected as a Community.

Kaukauna Area School District serves all or part of the following communities:

  • City of Kaukauna
  • Town of Kaukauna
  • Village of Sherwood
  • Town of Buchanan
  • Village of Harrison
  • Town of Holland
  • Town of Vanden Broek
  • Town of Woodville
  • Village of Combined Locks
  • Village of Little Chute

Kaukauna is one of the oldest communities in the State of Wisconsin. Reportedly, the first white explorer to see Kaukauna was Jean Nicolet, who pushed his birch bark canoe up the Fox River from Green Bay in 1634. If you're interested in learning more about Kaukauna, our community and our history, visit the City of Kaukauna website.
