What is ACP?

ACP is a student-driven, adult-supported process that helps students engage in academic, career, and personal development activities, with a goal of equipping all students with the knowledge and skills they need to find success in their post-secondary endeavors. The tools in the process help students create personalized plans that are aligned with high school graduation requirements, as well as their personal interests and individually-defined career goals.

Who Participates in ACP?

Kaukauna's ACP Model

At each grade level, students will practice goal-setting and planning by developing and/or revising their personal Academic & Career Plan with guidance from adult mentors (staff, counselors, parents). This is meant to be a gradual process that builds from one year to the next and supports the unique development of each student. Student goals and plans are expected to change annually based on their personal experiences.
