Board of Education

The seven (7) members of the Board of Education are proud to represent the Kaukauna Area School District and all the citizens of the school district in school-related matters. Our job is to define and oversee district policies, budget, curriculum, personnel and facilities. 

KASD School Board meetings are open to the public, and parents, community members and students are encouraged to attend. If you have an issue you would like to discuss at a School Board meeting, please fill out the Public Participation Guideline Form and present it to the President of the Board of Education.

Election Details

An election is to be held in the Kaukauna Area School District, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.

  • Office: Board of Education Member     Incumbent: Sally Feistel
  • Office: Board of Education Member     Incumbent: Josh Karl

Office Terms

The term of office for the School Board member is three years beginning on Monday, April 22, 2024. A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained from the school district office.

For Candidates

A CF-1 Campaign Registration Statement and EL-162sd Declaration of Candidacy must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in the office of the school district clerk.

Notification of Noncandidacy

Must be filed by an incumbent no later than 5:00 pm, on Friday, December 22, 2023.

Primary Election

If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Additional Information

Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election. If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.

Important Dates

  • December 1, 2023 to January 2, 2024 - Election candidates may file Campaign Registration Statements, Declarations of Candidacy

  • December 22, 2023 - Deadline for incumbents to fill notice of Noncandidacy

  • January 2, 2024 - Candidate Deadline for filing all documents needed to establish eligibility to appear on the ballot

  • February 20, 2024 - Spring Primary Election (if needed)

  • April 2, 2024 - Spring Election

  • April 22, 2024 - Newly Elected School Board Members take Office
