Extended Care Programs

Kaukauna Area School District offers a number of extended care options, both before and after the scheduled school day, to provide a safe, welcoming environment for kids and peace of mind for parents.

KASD extended care services include:

Before-school care starting at 6:30 a.m.
After-school care until 6:00 p.m. for students at Tanner, NDLC/Quinney, Haen, and Park Elementary Schools.
Wrap-around care for 4K students at Tanner, NDLC, and Park Community Charter School.

Before/After School Care

Our Before/After School Care programs are run in collaboration with the Heart of the Valley YMCA and are available on in-service days (half and full), as well as vacation days, but will not be available on holidays or inclement weather days.

Care providers are YMCA employees who have been trained and meet requirements for early childhood. They offer opportunities for extended learning, free choice, homework assistance, snack, group activities and more.

4K Wrap Around Care

2026-2027 Wrap-Around Care

For the 2026–2027 school year, care will be offered at Tanner and Haen. Children who attend Park and NDLC are still able to enroll and will be bused to their 4K session and back to care.

Registration opens on Monday, May 4th at 6:00 AM.

Registration Process

How do I register? Online through the YMCA of the Fox Cities program registration website. If you do not
have an online account please set one up at
https://operations.daxko.com/Online/Membership/myaccount.aspx?cid=5099.

Before Registration Opens:

Fill out the Profile feature within your online YMCA account. The profile provides all the information needed for Wisconsin state licensing as well as information our teachers need.
You will need your child’s immunization records, physician contact information and emergency contact information as this information must be entered into the Profile.
At the time the Profile is filled out all questions are not required, however at the time of registration ALL QUESTIONS will be required. You will not be able to register until all questions are complete.
We highly recommend you complete the Profile prior to registration day so you can register for immediately upon opening at 6:00 AM.
The system may time out. To avoid this, click save changes at the bottom of the Profile frequently ensuring anything you have entered is saved.
The Profile can be updated at anytime so as information changes you can edit the Profile.

Completing the Profile:

Log in to your online YMCA account https://operations.daxko.com/online/5099/Security/login.mvc/find_account
Click view account from the drop down menu in the upper right corner.
Navigate to the membership box on the left-hand side of your screen.
Click the edit pencil next to your child’s name.
Enter the requested information into each of the fields
Click Save Changes

After Registration Opens:

Navigate to Member Login and log into your online account.
Click Activities
Select Register for a program or event
Select the school your child will attend as the location.
Enter Wrap in the search bar
Select if you need AM or PM care
Verify/Answer the questions, agree to the waivers, and complete the registration.

*The YMCA of the Fox Cities will be launching a new website in late February. If registering after the launch, please follow registration instructions on the Preschool page of our website.

Fees 2026-2027 School Year

Rates are WEEKLY.
Payments are automatically deducted Friday before care (often as early as 2 AM) each week. Financial assistance is available.

Additional Fees

Registration Fee $75
No School Days (optional, registration required) $10 per day
Christmas Break & Spring Break (optional, registration required) $48 per day
Late Pick Up $20 per 15 minutes

How does the registration process work?

Winter Weather Policy

If the School District delays the start of the school day (2 hour delay), the YMCA will not provide before school care. (Wrap Around programming would begin at the same time as the delayed elementary start.)

If the School District cancels for the school day for any reason, the YMCA will not provide care at all that day.

If the School District dismisses school early the YMCA will not provide afternoon care. (Wrap Around students would need to be picked up within 45 minutes of school dismissal.)
