School Safety
The Kaukauna Area School District makes school safety a top priority. We regularly practice a variety of safety drills, including fire, tornado, hold, lockdown, and evacuation, to ensure that students and staff are prepared in case of an emergency.
SRP
Beginning this school year, we implemented the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) throughout the district. This will help us standardize our safety language and procedures across all KASD schools, ensuring clear and consistent communication during drills and real emergencies. The SRP works hand-in-hand with our existing safety strategies and allows everyone—students, staff, and first responders—to follow the same expectations and terminology.
