U.S. News Best Middle School

River View Middle School is proud to share that it was recognized in the 2026 U.S. News Best Schools rankings as a Best Middle School. This recognition reflects the work our students and staff do every day to keep learning strong while supporting students through the important middle school years.

U.S. News reports that its middle school rankings are based on student proficiency in mathematics and reading/language arts using state assessment data. The methodology considers both overall performance and results in the context of a school’s student population, highlighting schools where students are achieving at high levels. U.S. News also notes the rankings use third party data sources, including the U.S. Department of Education.
