The Herb Kohl Foundation is currently accepting nominations of Wisconsin teachers and principals for the 20-21 Herb Kohl teacher fellowships and principal leadership awards.  The nomination deadline is Oct 13.

 

Attention Juniors:  The PSAT test is great practice for the SAT. Juniors who score high enough may enter the National Merit Scholarship program.  The test will be offered on Wednesday, October 14. Tests are limited and the cost is $15. This year the PSAT test is offered to Juniors only.  Sophomore students are not eligible to take this test.  Stop in Student Services today for more information if you are interested.  Sign up deadline is Oct. 8.

 

A virtual visit from Pace University-New York on Friday, Oct 9 and Lawrence University on Oct 12.  Sign up in edficiency during FLEX if interested.

 

Are you interested in photography, graphic design, art, or just having some fun?  We are looking for students interested in joining yearbook, Seniors are especially encouraged to join as this is your year to shine!  If so we will be having an informational meeting on October 16th during 1st and 2nd lunches in room F219.  If you have any additional questions please contact Mrs. Schimmers-Wood.

 

Attention Juniors:  If you have not yet scheduled your junior conference with your counselor, please remember to do so with Mrs. Rueden in Student Services.  Conferences are being held now through mid-December.

 

Students interested in joining and learning more about HOSA-Future Health Professionals-attend information session during Flex on Monday (Oct 12) or Thursday (Oct 15).  Or join the lunch sessions on Tuesday (Oct 13)/Friday (Oct 16) in D109-bring your lunch and learn more.  If you have any questions, or would like more information please see Mrs Moseng.

 

The AP Exam deadline is quickly approaching. Students in AP courses that run in trimesters 1 and 2 should have a College Board account by now and should join their courses using the unique join codes. Please see your AP teacher if you have not yet done this important step. The deadline for students in courses that run tri 1 and 2 and for online AP students is this FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th. Please select YES in your College Board account, fill out the paper form given by your AP teacher and submit your payment to Mrs. Brouch by October 9th. Checks can be made out to Kaukauna High School. Please contact your AP teacher or Ms. Vraney with any questions.
