HEY all you blood donors out there!! The blood drive you signed up for is tomorrow!! In order to make the donation process fast and efficient, please drink a lot of water today and tonight and eat plenty of high iron foods with vitamin C. Also please wear a short-sleeved shirt, have your student ID and eat a really good breakfast.
Attention Seniors: The Engineers Foundation of Wisconsin is offering several $2, 500 scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to study engineering . Log into Xello and check out this scholarship opportunity along with many others. Deadline to apply is Dec 19.
Reminder, today is the last day to donate non perishables. Make sure you put your donations in the boxes in the commons….look for the food drive tables. You simply CANnot wait if you would like to donate!
Since Thanksgiving is coming up we need your help dressing the turkey… but it's not just any turkey, Gertrude the gratitude turkey or Gertie for short will be hanging around in the commons in your lunch periods. Please consider writing what you are thankful for on the feather during your lunch period and dress up Gertrude the gratitude turkey or Gertie for short for those who do, your feather will be possibly drawn for the best prize ever which will make you the celebrity of our school like Arianna Grande with a custom Xbox controller! There will be 3 of them given away.
KHS HOSA and St. Paul Elder services are so excited to announce that we are hosting a screening of a Wisconsin-made documentary about family caregivers for those with memory loss, UNCONDITIONAL: A JOURNEY OF SELFLESS LOVE. This event offers expertise ahead of the challenging holiday season for family caregivers. The film was produced by an Appleton filmmaker. Any student who attends for the screening on Monday November 21st, at 6pm in the KHS auditorium will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card of their choice. Do you have any books laying around that you're through reading? Children's books, YA books, any books at all? If so, please consider donating them to the UW Oshkosh Fox Valley Campus book drive. All books will be donated to Harbor House, Habitat for Humanity and area homeless shelters. Books can be dropped off in the boxes in our library. The book drive lasts until December 2nd..
