Attention Seniors: The Outagamie County Retired Educators Association Scholarship application is now available for a High School Senior in Outagamie County who wishes to enter the field of education. Applications are only available in Student Services.
Any students interested in taking an Early College Credit or Start College Class next year should register for Mr Binsfeld's flex time on Thursday. The ECCP deadline for summer is February 1st and the fall deadline for both programs is March 1st. If you cannot make the flex meeting, please stop by Mr Binsfeld's office for the necessary paperwork.
You are invited to attend Fox Valley Technical College Open House and Scavenger Hunt on Tuesday, February 28 from 3:00 - 6:00pm. Enjoy a free fun family event where you can go on a scavenger hunt and win prizes. You'll also have the opportunity to explore degree options, talk with instructors and learn about what the tech provides. Pop Quiz KHS Ghosts – True or False? There is no substitute for human blood? The answer is TRUE. When hospital patients need blood, they receive transfusions that come from the volunteer blood donors…..that could be you!! NHS is sponsoring a blood drive on the 14th Sign-ups are taking place in the commons by Student Services, during both lunches and after school. Sign up now….there aren’t a lot of spots left!!
The Outagamie County Bar Association application is available in Student Services. This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who will be pursuing education in law or criminal justice.
The Fox River Valley Section of ISA (The International Society of Automation) will award (5) scholarships to graduating seniors that plan to pursue an automation or process control related course of study. (1) $2500 and (4) $1500 scholarships. Applications can be found in Student Services. Deadline to apply is April 28.
Attention Seniors: The Kaukauna Utilities is again offering scholarships to deserving high school seniors. (2) $1,000 scholarships are available to seniors who will pursue post-secondary education in engineering or other technical fields such as environmental science, IT, business, or trades related to the utility industry. In addition, (1) $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who is interested in making a career as a utility lineman. Stop in Student Services to pick up your application. Deadline to apply is March 1.
Join the Project 7 Student-led Bible study every Friday in E209 during Flex. Come and make some new friends, enjoy fellowship and learn something new. Everyone is welcome!
Attention Seniors: If you are thinking about graduating early, you need to meet with your guidance counselor and fill out the proper paperwork. This needs to be completed by February 1 to be considered, so make sure you let your counselor know as soon as possible.
